It looks like I was confused about the upcoming Feb 27 launch for Microsoft’s new software. I was under the impression the launch was for both Windows Server 2008 AND SQL Server 2008. But according to this post on a technet blog, I was obviously mistaken.
Apparently on Feb 27, only Windows Server 2008 will truly go to general availability - SQL Server 2008 will simply go CTP.
I honestly don't understand why they even bother mentioning SQL???
