Well, I'm neck-deep in WSS3.0 custom workflows these days. Imagine my surprise when I realized that there was a sample workflow from Microsoft doing many of the things I was trying to do myself from scratch - all nicely packaged inside the WSS3.0 SDK. The workflow is called Collect Feedback...
There's just one problem... Collect Feedback is NOT included in the SDK anymore. Why? I have no idea. It has mysteriously been removed from the WSS3.0 SDK as well as the MOSS2007 SDK. Maybe it never should have been included in the first place - but it's extremely frustrating to see hundreds of references to it on blogs, MSDN posts, etc - only to find it's now been removed.
Luckily, I had an old copy of an MSDN cd containing the SDK prior to it being removed.
For what it's worth, the Collect Feedback is an excellent sample demonstrating custom aspx pages, serial and parallel use of the replicator, and full task creation.
Can you post a download link for this? I was looking for the same thing and pretty much have had the same issues you had.
